Character Coaches Needed Great news! Winners Walk Tall has expanded to 5 new schools in 2009. As we bring on new schools, we need more coaches to deliver our program in the schools. Please help us to be able to share the Winners Walk Tall character education program with the children in these new schools. How Can I Help?
Become a volunteer Character Coach. Throughout the school year, volunteer Character Coaches visit their assigned classrooms for just 10 minutes a week to discuss a single topic from a prepared list of manners, morals and ethics. Each Coach wears a neon pink baseball cap, out of which comes the topic for the week. Our Coaches come from a variety of backgrounds professionals, entrepreneurs, housewives, retirees and students. Volunteers receive training and a comprehensive manual with hints on handling topics, handouts, a copy of the graduation certificate and more. Being a Character Coach is easy, fun, and it provides a much-needed service to our society. You're invited to join our Character Coaches team! If you’re already a Character Coach, please consider presenting to just one more classroom. Your involvement makes all the difference in the lives of the children. Thank you for your time and talent! To volunteer, to add another classroom or to ask questions regarding volunteering, please contact Karen Volk, Associate Director, at 513.604.6019 or kvolk@winnerswalktall.org
